US property rates fell 13% in Q2 2026, the eighth straight quarter of declines, and catastrophe-exposed programs above $1 million in premium came down roughly 20%. Liability runs the other way, with rates still climbing on litigation costs. Insurers are also easing deductibles and broadening terms to win business.
