What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small data files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies serve different purposes, such as helping us understand how the Sites are being used, letting you navigate between pages efficiently, remembering your preferences, and generally improving your browsing experience.
Our Sites may use both session cookies (which expire once you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on your device until you delete them or they expire).

Other Technologies
Web beacons (pixel tags). We may use web beacons on the Sites and in our HTML-formatted emails to track the actions of users on the Sites and interactions with our emails. Pixel tags are embedded invisibly on webpages or in emails and are typically used to measure the success of marketing campaigns, engagement with our emails, and usage of the Sites. Most browsers and email clients allow you to block images, which prevents pixel tags from loading.
Browser web storage. We may use browser web storage (such as HTML5 local storage) for purposes similar to cookies, including storing preferences and supporting Site functionality. Your browser may provide functionality to clear web storage.
IP-based identification. As described in our Privacy Policy, we use third-party services that use IP addresses and related device data collected on the Sites to identify the company, and in some cases the individual business contact, associated with a visit. Because this identification relies in part on server-side signals such as your IP address, blocking cookies alone may not stop it; the effective controls are the Global Privacy Control signal and the email opt-out described below. Your Choices
Cookie settings. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies, or manage cookies by category, through the “Cookies Settings” control on the Sites, both when you first visit and at any time afterward. For visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, non-essential cookies are used only with consent. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent and remain active.
Blocking cookies in your browser. Most browsers let you remove or reject cookies through their settings. Many browsers accept cookies by default until you change your settings. If you disable cookies, parts of the Sites may not work properly; for example, we may not recognize your device and you may need to log in on every visit. Global Privacy Control. We treat Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as valid opt-out requests. When we detect a GPC signal from your browser, we treat it as a request to opt out of any processing that applicable state law treats as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for that browser.
Email opt-out. You can opt out of visitor identification-based outreach and marketing communications by emailing legal@openinsured.com, or by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
Blocking images/pixels. Most browsers and devices allow you to prevent images from loading, which blocks web beacons. Follow the instructions in your browser or device settings.
Please note that opt-out choices are typically stored per browser and per device, so you will need to apply them on each browser and device you use.

Information about the cookies and technologies we use may be updated from time to time, so please check back regularly. If we make material changes to this Cookie Policy, we will update the “Last Modified” date above.
